Shabbat Shalom Loved One!
Most of you have now received Avi Ben Mordechai’s Shavuot/Pentecost inspiring and revealing
message to the Body of Messiah called; “SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES”! Indeed, as usual
our friend Avi is right on the mark and explains the answer to the question; who is the real culprit
anyway? I will also resend this message so please take the time to read this, as it is a crucial step
toward understanding and deliverance for you and your loved ones in the months ahead.
“SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES” is posted on the website by Torah keepers Kendra and
Brian at: www.shabbatshalomlovedone.blogspot.com. I believe the great love of our King is
manifesting itself in his awakening mercy as more evil is poured down on this sin hungry infested
planet. Recently another dear friend from Texas, Moshe; sent a radio message that I listened to 3
times! It was from a man who’s heard from Heaven also and is proclaiming; from a normal Christian
perspective; the times and seasons I was shown from a Hebraic perspective. Not close, not
guesswork, but the exact physical events unraveling just now and explaining how can this happen and
happen NOW? Please take the time to listen to his message and realize the mercy of our Elohim in
keeping His promise in Amos; (Amos 3:6)
If a ram’s horn (Shofar-Trumpet) is blown in a city, do the people not tremble? If there is calamity in a
city, shall not יהוה have done it? (Amos 3:7) For the Master יהוה does no matter unless/until He reveals
His secret to His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:8) A lion has roared! Who is not afraid? The Master
יהוה has spoken! Who would not prophesy? Click the site below to hear his timely and
confirming radio message: DO NOT FEAR! OUR KING IS SITTING ON THE THRONE! (Rev 3:10)
'Because you have kept the word of my perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that
hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. (Rev 3:11) 'I
am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown. (Rev 3:12) 'He who
overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my Elohim, and he will not go out from it anymore;
and I will write on him the name of my Elohim, and the name of the city of my Elohim, the new
Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my Elohim, and my new name. (Rev 3:13) 'He who
has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach HaKodesh says to the assemblies.'
This message below by Rick Wiles is a must... the world is soon to be at war. Two wars are in the
making...Obama has secretly (no press- just in the federal register) released the Russians to sell
Iran their new 300 missile defense system and Israel knows they must attack now before it’s
functional or face eradication.

With these timely and alarming messages from Avi Ben Mordechai; “Something Wicked this way
comes” answering whose fault is it anyway? And Rick Wiles sharing the events secretly unfolding

please pray and also order this twin pack DVD ($25) by ordering from me directly at tbmccut@yahoo.
com or our website at www.seedtime2harvest.com) or for those in Namibia and South Africa, I believe
it is available or soon will be at Aviv SA <aroodawakeningsa@iburst.co.za>; how then are we to
prepare and live? These are fasting and soul wrenching times that we must fast, pray, and listen- and
then obey (IN PEACE) what we are shown to do in preparation. Then with confidence in Him, we may
be a light and source of help to many. Now, let’s turn our hearts and minds to this week’s Torah study.
Here are this week’s Torah Scriptures: Beha'alot'cha "When you set up"
Numbers 8:1-12:16; Zechariah 2:14-4:7
2 Samuel Chapters 18, 19, 20 and 21
(Num 8:1) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Num 8:2) “Speak to Aharon, and say to him, ‘When you
set up the lamps, let the seven lamps give light in front of the lampstand.’ ” (Num 8:3) and Aharon did
so. He set up the lamps to face toward the front of the lampstand, as יהוה commanded Mosheh. (Num
8:4) And this is the work of the lampstand: beaten work of gold, from its base to its blossoms it is
beaten work. According to the pattern which יהוה had shown Mosheh, so he made the lampstand.
(Num 8:5) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Num 8:6) “Take the Lĕwites from among the
children of Yisra’ĕl, and you shall cleanse them, (Num 8:7) and do this to them to cleanse them:
Sprinkle water of sin offering on them, and they shall shave all their body, and shall wash their
garments, and cleanse themselves, (Num 8:8) and shall take a young bull with its grain offering of
fine flour mixed with oil, while you take another young bull as a sin offering. (Num 8:9) “And you shall
bring the Lĕwites before the Tent of Meeting, and you shall assemble all the congregation of the
children of Yisra’ĕl. (Num 8:10) “And you shall bring the Lĕwites before יהוה, and the children of Yisra’
ĕl shall lay their hands on the Lĕwites, (Num 8:11) and Aharon shall wave the Lĕwites before יהוה, a
wave offering from the children of Yisra’ĕl – so shall they be for doing the service of יהוה. (Num 8:12)
“And the Lĕwites shall lay their hands on the heads of the young bulls. And one shall be prepared as a
sin offering and the other as a burnt offering to יהוה, to make atonement for the Lĕwites. (Num 8:13)
“And you shall have the Lĕwites stand before Aharon and his sons, and then wave them, a wave
offering to יהוה. (Num 8:14) “Thus you shall separate the Lĕwites from among the children of Yisra’ĕl,
and the Lĕwites shall be mine. (Num 8:15) “Then after that the Lĕwites shall go in to do service in the
Tent of Meeting, when you have cleansed them and waved them as a wave offering. (Num 8:16) “They
are given ones, given to me from among the children of Yisra’ĕl. I have taken them for myself instead
of all who open the womb, the first-born of all the children of Yisra’ĕl. (Num 8:17) “For all the first-born
among the children of Yisra’ĕl are mine, both man and beast. On the day that I smote all the first-born
in the land of Mitsrayim I set them apart unto myself. (Num 8:18) “And I have taken the Lĕwites instead
of all the first-born of the children of Yisra’ĕl. (Num 8:19) “And I have given the Lĕwites as a gift to
Aharon and his sons from among the children of Yisra’ĕl, to do the service of the children of Yisra’ĕl in
the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Yisra’ĕl, that there be no plague among
the children of Yisra’ĕl when the children of Yisra’ĕl come near the set-apart place.” (Num 8:20) Thus
Mosheh and Aharon and all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕl did to the Lĕwites according to
all that יהוה commanded Mosheh concerning the Lĕwites, so the children of Yisra’ĕl did to them. (Num
8:21) And the Lĕwites cleansed themselves and washed their garments, and Aharon waved them, a
wave offering before יהוה, and Aharon made atonement for them to cleanse them. (Num 8:22) Then
after that the Lĕwites went in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting before Aharon and his sons as
יהוה commanded Mosheh concerning the Lĕwites, so they did to them. (Num 8:23) And יהוה spoke to
Mosheh, saying, (Num 8:24) “This applies to the Lĕwites: From twenty-five years old and above
let him come into active service in the service of the Tent of Meeting, (Num 8:25) and at the age of fifty
years they retire from active service of the service, and serve no more, (Num 8:26) but they
shall attend with their brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to guard the duty, but shall do no service. Thus
you shall do to the Lĕwites regarding their duties.”
Passover
Num 9:1 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year
after they had come out of the land of Mitsrayim, saying, Num 9:2 “Now, let the children of Yisra’ĕl
perform the Passover at its appointed time; Num 9:3 on the fourteenth day of this month between the
evenings, perform it at its appointed time. According to all its laws and right-rulings you perform it.”
Num 9:4 And Mosheh spoke to the children of Yisra’ĕl to perform the Passover; Num 9:5 so they
performed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month, between the evenings, in the
Wilderness of Sinai. According to all that יהוה commanded Mosheh, so the children of Yisra’ĕl
did. Num 9:6 but there were men who were defiled for a being of a man, so that they were not able to
perform the Passover on that day. So they came before Mosheh and Aharon that day, Num 9:7 and
those men said to him, “We are defiled for the being of a man, why are we withheld from bringing near
the offering of יהוה at its appointed time among the children of Yisra’ĕl?” Num 9:8 And Mosheh said to
them, “Wait, and let me hear what יהוה commands concerning you.”
Two Months for Passover if you are unclean (defiled) or on a journey!
(Comment: I expect that may also apply to us who are still on a journey-away from Jerusalem, as the
command was to do the Passover there)
Num 9:9 and יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, Num 9:10 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘When
any male of you or your generations is unclean1 for a being, or is far away on a journey, he shall still
perform the Passover of יהוה. Footnote: 1Defilement can be imparted from one to another. Num 9:11
‘On the fourteenth day of the second month, between the evenings, they perform it – with unleavened
bread and bitter herbs they eat it. Num 9:12 ‘They do not leave of it until morning, and they do not break
a bone of it. According to all the laws of the Passover they perform it. Num 9:13 ‘But the man who is
clean and is not on a journey, and has failed to perform the Passover, that same being shall be cut off
from among his people, because he did not bring the offering of יהוה at its appointed time – that man
bears his sin. Num 9:14 ‘And when a stranger sojourns among you, then he shall perform the
Passover of יהוה. He shall do so according to the law of the Passover and according to its right-ruling.
You have one law, both for the stranger and the native of the land.’ ” Num 9:15 and on the day that the
Dwelling Place was raised up, the cloud covered the Dwelling Place, the Tent of the Witness.
From evening until morning it was above the Dwelling Place like the appearance of fire. Num 9:
16 thus it was continually: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. Num 9:17
and whenever the cloud was taken up from above the Tent, after that the children of Yisra’ĕl would
depart. And in the place where the cloud dwelt, there the children of Yisra’ĕl would camp. Num 9:18 at
the command of יהוה the children of Yisra’ĕl departed, and at the command of יהוה they camped. They
remained camped as long as the cloud dwelt above the Dwelling Place. Num 9:19 Even when the
cloud lingered many days above the Dwelling Place, the children of Yisra’ĕl guarded the Charge of
יהוה, and did not depart. Num 9:20 and so it was, when the cloud was above the Dwelling Place a few
days: according to the command of יהוה they camped, and according to the command of יהוה they
would depart. Num 9:21 and so it was, when the cloud dwelt only from evening until morning:
when the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they departed. Whether by day or by night, whenever
the cloud was taken up, they departed. Num 9:22 whether two days, or a month, or a year that the
cloud lingered above the Dwelling Place to dwell upon it, the children of Yisra’ĕl camped, and did not
depart. But when it was taken up, they departed. Num 9:23 at the command of יהוה they camped, and
at the command of יהוה they departed. They guarded the Charge of יהוה, at the command of יהוה by the
hand of Mosheh. (Comment: I expect we will also have a cloud by day and a fire by night during our so
journeying during the Days of Jacob’s Trouble!)
Blow the Trumpet and you shall be saved from your enemies! (Let
your enemies be scattered! How many of us have a Shofar or Silver Trumpet?)
(Num 10:1) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Num 10:2) “Make two silver trumpets for yourself,
make them of beaten work. And you shall use them for calling the congregation and for
breaking camp. (Num 10:3) “And when they blow both of them, all the congregation shall meet before
you at the door of the Tent of Meeting. (Num 10:4) “And if they blow one, then the leaders, the heads of
the thousands of Yisra’ĕl, shall gather to you. (Num 10:5) “And when you blow a shout, the camps that
lie on the east side shall depart. (Num 10:6) “And when you blow a shout the second time, then the
camps that lie on the south side shall depart – they blow a shout for them to depart. (Num 10:7) “And
when the assembly is to be assembled, you blow, but do not shout. (Num 10:8) “And the sons of
Aharon, the priests, blow with the trumpets.
And it shall be to you for a law forever throughout your generations. (Num 10:9) “And when you go into
battle in your land against the enemy that distresses you, then you shall shout with the trumpets, and
you shall be remembered before יהוה your Elohim and you shall be saved from your enemies. (Num
10:10) “And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed times, and at the beginning of your
months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over your peace offerings. And they
shall be a remembrance for you before your Elohim. I am יהוה your Elohim.” (Num 10:11) And it came
to be on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from
above the Dwelling Place of the Witness. (Num 10:12) And the children of Yisra’ĕl departed, setting
out from the Wilderness of Sinai. And the cloud dwelt on it in the Wilderness of Paran. (Num 10:13)
Thus they departed the first time, according to the command of יהוה by the hand of Mosheh. (Num 10:
14) And the banner of the camp of the children of Yehuḏah departed first according to their divisions.
And over their army was Naḥshon, son of Amminaḏaḇ. (Num 10:15) And over the army of the tribe of
the children of Yissasḵar was Nethanĕ’l, son of Tsuʽar. (Num 10:16) and over the army of the tribe of
the children of Zeḇulun was Eliyaḇ, son of Ḥĕlon. (Num 10:17)
And the Dwelling Place was taken down. And the sons of Gĕreshon and the sons of Merari departed,
bearing the Dwelling Place. (Num 10:18) And the banner of the camp of Re’uḇĕn departed according
to their divisions. And over their army was Elitsur, son of Sheḏĕy’ur. (Num 10:19) And over the army of
the tribe of the children of Shimʽon was Shelumi’ĕl, son of Tsurishaddai. (Num 10:20) And over the
army of the tribe of the children of Gaḏ was Elyasaph, the son of Deu’ĕl. (Num 10:21) And the
Qehathites departed, bearing the set-apart objects, while the Dwelling Place was set up before they
came. (Num 10:22) And the banner of the camp of the children of Ephrayim departed according
to their divisions. And over their army was Elishama, son of Ammihuḏ. (Num 10:23) And over the army
of the tribe of the children of Menashsheh was Gamli’ĕl, son of Peḏahtsur. (Num 10:24) And over the
army of the tribe of the children of Binyamin was Aḇiḏan, son of Giḏʽoni. (Num 10:25) Then the banner
of the camp of the children of Dan, which formed the rear guard of all the camps, departed
according to their divisions. And over their army was Aḥiʽezer, son of Ammishaddai. (Num 10:26) And
over the army of the tribe of the children of Ashĕr was Paḡʽi’ĕl, the son of Oḵran. (Num 10:27) And over
the army of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Aḥira, the son of Ěnan. (Num 10:28) Such was the
order of setting out of the children of Yisra’ĕl, according to their divisions, when they departed. (Num
10:29)
And Mosheh said to Ḥoḇaḇ, the son of Reʽuw’ĕl the Miḏyanite, Mosheh’s father-in-law, “We are setting
out for the place of which יהוה said, ‘I give it to you.’ Come with us, and we shall do well to you, for יהוה
has spoken well concerning Yisra’ĕl.” (Num 10:30) And he replied to him, “I am not going, but I am
going to my own land and to my relatives.” (Num 10:31) Then he said, “Please do not leave us,
because you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and you shall be our eyes. (Num 10:32)
“And it shall be, when you go with us, and then it shall be that whatever good יהוה does to us, the same
we shall do to you.” (Num 10:33) So they set out from the mountain of יהוה on a journey of three days.
And the Ark of the Covenant of יהוה went before them for the three days’ journey, to seek out a resting
place for them. (Num 10:34) And the cloud of יהוה was above them by day when they went out from the
camp. (Num 10:35) And it came to be, whenever the ark set out, that Mosheh said, “Rise up, O יהוה!
And let your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate you flee before you.” (Num 10:36) And
when it rested, he said, “Return, O יהוה, to the countless thousands of Yisra’ĕl.”
Let’s learn from their murmuring and NOT DO IT! No whining and complaining.
(Num 11:1) And it came to be, when the people were as complainers, it was evil in the ears of יהוה.
And יהוה heard it, and His displeasure burned. And the fire of יהוה burned among them, and consumed
those in the outskirts of the camp. (Num 11:2) And the people cried out to Mosheh, and Mosheh
prayed to יהוה, and the fire died down. (Num 11:3) Then he called the name of the place Taḇʽĕrah,
because the fire of יהוה had burned among them. (Num 11:4) And the mixed multitude who were in
their midst lusted greatly, so the children of Yisra’ĕl also wept again and said, “Who is giving us meat
to eat? (Num 11:5) “We remember the fish which we ate without cost in Mitsrayim, the
cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic, (Num 11:6) but now our
throat is dried up. There is naught to look at but this manna!” (Num 11:7) Now the manna was like
coriander seed, and its appearance like the appearance of bdellium. (Num 11:8)
The people went about and gathered it, ground it on millstones or beat it in the mortar, and cooked it in
a pot, and made cakes of it. And its taste was as the taste of cakes baked with oil. (Num 11:9) And
when the dew fell on the camp at night, the manna fell on it. (Num 11:10) And Mosheh heard the
people weeping throughout their clans, each man at the door of his tent. And the displeasure of יהוה
burned exceedingly. And in the eyes of Mosheh it was evil, (Num 11:11) so Mosheh said to יהוה, “Why
have you done evil to your servant? And why have I not found favor in your eyes, to put the burden of all
these people on me? (Num 11:12) “Was it I who conceived all these people? Was it I who brought
them forth, that You should say to me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as the foster father carries a nursing
child,’ to the land which you swore to their fathers? (Num 11:13) “Where am I to get meat to give to all
these people? For they weep before me, saying, ‘Give us meat to eat.’ (Num 11:14) “I am unable to
bear all these people alone, because the burden is too heavy for me. (Num 11:15)
“And if you are doing this to me, please slay me altogether, if I have found favor in your eyes, and
let me not see my evil!” (Num 11:16) Then יהוה said to Mosheh, “Gather to me seventy men of the
elders of Yisra’ĕl, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them. And bring
them to the Tent of Meeting, and let them stand there with you. (Num 11:17) “And I shall come down
and speak with you there, and shall take of the Spirit that is on you, and put on them. And they shall
bear the burden of the people with you, so that you do not bear it yourself alone. (Num 11:18) “And say
to the people, ‘Set yourselves apart for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat, because you have wept in
the hearing of יהוה, saying, “Who is giving us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Mitsrayim.” And יהוה
shall give you meat, and you shall eat. (Num 11:19) ‘You are going to eat, not one day, nor two days,
nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days, (Num 11:20) but for a month of days, until it comes out of
your nostrils and becomes an abomination to you, because you have rejected יהוה who is among you,
and have wept before Him, saying, “Why did we come up out of Mitsrayim?” ’ ” (Num 11:21) And
Mosheh said, “The people in whose midst I am- six hundred thousand men on foot, and you, you have
said, ‘I give them meat to eat for a month of days.’ (Num 11:22) “Could flocks and herds be
slaughtered for them, to be sufficient for them? Or could all the fish of the sea be gathered together for
them, to be sufficient for them?” (Num 11:23)
And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Is the arm of יהוה too short? Now see whether my word meets you or not!”
(Num 11:24) And Mosheh went out and spoke to the people the words of יהוה, and he gathered the
seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the Tent. (Num 11:25)
And יהוה came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and
placed the same upon the seventy elders. And it came to be, when the Spirit rested upon them, that
they prophesied, but did not continue. (Num 11:26) However, two men had remained in the camp.
The name of one was Eldaḏ, and the name of the other Mĕyḏaḏ. And the Spirit rested upon them. Now
they were among those listed, but did not go out to the Tent. And they prophesied in the camp. (Num
11:27) And a young man ran and informed Mosheh, and said, “Eldaḏ and Mĕyḏaḏ are prophesying in
the camp.” (Num 11:28) And Yehoshua son of Nun, Mosheh’s assistant from his youth, answered
and said, “Mosheh my master, forbid them!” (Num 11:29) Then Mosheh said to him, “Are you jealous
for my sake? Oh, that all the people of יהוה were prophets, that יהוה would put His Spirit upon them!”
(Num 11:30) And Mosheh returned to the camp, both he and the elders of Yisra’ĕl.
I love quail, how about you? (Of course, I don’t eat it every day either)
(Num 11:31) And a wind went forth from יהוה, and it brought quail from the sea and let them fall beside
the camp, about a day’s journey on this side and about a day’s journey on the other side, all
around the camp, and about two cubits above the surface of the ground. (Num 11:32) And the people
were up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and gathered the quail. He who has least
gathered ten homers. And they spread them out for themselves all around the camp. (Num 11:33)
The meat was still between their teeth, before it was chewed, and the wrath of יהוה burned against the
people, and יהוה smote the people with an exceeding great plague. (Num 11:34) Then he called the
name of that place Qiḇroth Hatta’awah, because there they buried the people who had lusted. (Num
11:35) From Qiḇroth Hatta’awah the people set out for Ḥatsĕroth – and they were at Ḥatsĕroth.
DO NOT SPEAK A CURSE! Not even if it appears to be fact - it is a curse when it doesn’t agree with
YHWH-no matter how factual is the circumstance! Notice YHWH hears ALL! You really don’t want to be
addressed by the cloud or fire of YHWH!
Num 12:1) Now Miryam and Aharon spoke against Mosheh because of the Kushite woman whom he
had taken, for he had taken a Kushite woman. (Num 12:2) And they said, “Has יהוה spoken only
through Mosheh? Has He not also spoken through us?” And יהוה heard it. (Num 12:3) And the man
Mosheh was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth. (Num 12:4) And
suddenly יהוה said to Mosheh, and Aharon, and Miryam, “You three, come out to the Tent of Meeting!”,
so the three came out. (Num 12:5) And יהוה came down in the column of cloud and stood in the
door of the Tent, and called Aharon and Miryam. And they both went forward. (Num 12:6) And He said,
“Hear now my words: If your prophet is of יהוה, I make myself known to him in a vision, and I speak to
him in a dream. (Num 12:7) “Not so with my servant Mosheh, he is trustworthy in my entire house.
(Num 12:8) “I speak with him mouth to mouth, and plainly, and not in riddles. And he sees the form of
יהוה. So why were you not afraid to speak against my servant Mosheh?” (Num 12:9)
And the displeasure of יהוה burned against them, and He left. (Num 12:10) And the cloud turned away
from above the Tent, and look: Miryam was leprous, as white as snow! And Aharon turned toward
Miryam, and look: a leper! (Num 12:11) And Aharon said to Mosheh, “Oh, my master! Please do not
hold against us the sin in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned. (Num 12:12)
“Please do not let her be as one dead when coming out of its mother’s womb, with our flesh half
consumed!” (Num 12:13) And Mosheh cried out to יהוה, saying, “O Ěl, please heal her, please!” (Num
12:14) And יהוה said to Mosheh, “If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be ashamed
seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and after that let her be readmitted.” (Num
12:15) And Miryam was shut out of the camp seven days, and the people did not set out until Miryam
was readmitted. (Num 12:16) And afterward the people departed from Ḥatsĕroth, and they camped in
the Wilderness of Paran.
Note YHWH chose Jerusalem! Want access to the glory realm? Walk in His ways!
(Zec 3:1) And he showed me Yehoshua the high priest standing before the messenger of יהוה, and
Satan standing at his right hand to be an adversary to him. (Zec 3:2) And יהוה said to Satan, “יהוה
rebuke you, Satan! יהוה who has chosen Yerushalayim rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked
from the fire?” (Zec 3:3) And Yehoshua was dressed in filthy garments, and was standing before the
messenger. (Zec 3:4) And He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Remove
the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your guilt from you, and shall
put costly robes on you.” (Zec 3:5) And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” Then they put
a clean turban on his head, and they put garments on him. And the messenger of יהוה stood by. (Zec 3:
6) And the messenger of יהוה witnessed to Yehoshua, saying, (Zec 3:7) “Thus said יהוה of hosts,
‘If you walk in my ways, and if you guard my duty, then you shall also rule my house, and also guard
my courts. And I shall give you access among these standing here. (Zec 3:8) ‘Now listen, Yehoshua
the high priest, you and your companions who sit before you, for they are men of symbol. For look, I
am bringing forth My Servant – the Branch1. Footnote: 1Or Sprout. See Isa. 4:2, Isa. 11:1, Jer. 23:5, Jer.
33:15, Zech. 6:12. (Zec 3:9) ‘See the stone which I have put before Yehoshua: on one stone are seven
eyes. See, I am engraving its inscription,’ declares יהוה of hosts, ‘and I shall remove the guilt of that
land in one day.
Remember “IN THAT DAY” is a Hebrew idiom for the Sabbath Day of YHWH (the seventh thousand
years) This is the Scripture Yahshua used when He called Nathaniel as He was referring to a man
without guile or deceit and knew he would be in the Millennium reign with Yahshua!
(Zec 3:10) ‘In that day,’ declares יהוה of hosts, ‘you shall invite one another, under the vine and under
the fig tree.’ ” (Zec 4:1) and the messenger who was speaking to me came back and woke me up as a
man is awakened from sleep. (Zec 4:2) And he said to me, “What do you see?” So I said, “I have
looked, and see: a lampstand all of gold with a bowl on top of it and on the stand seven lamps with
seven spouts to the seven lamps. (Zec 4:3) “And two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl
and the other at its left.” (Zec 4:4) Then I responded and spoke to the messenger who was speaking
to me, saying, “What are these, my master?” (Zec 4:5) And the messenger who was speaking to me
answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my master.” (Zec 4:6)
And he answered and said to me, “This is the word of יהוה to Zerubbaḇel, ‘Not by might nor by power,
but by My Spirit,’ said יהוה of hosts. (Zec 4:7)
‘Who are you, Great Mountain, before Zerubbaḇel? A plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with
shouts of “Favor, favor to it!” ’ ” (Zec 4:8) and the word of יהוה came to me, saying, (Zec 4:9) “The hands
of Zerubbaḇel have laid the foundation of this House, and his hands shall complete it. And you shall
know that יהוה of hosts has sent me to you. (Zec 4:10) “Who has despised the day of small
beginnings? They shall rejoice when they see the plumb-line in the hand of Zerubbaḇel. These seven
are the eyes of יהוה, which diligently search throughout all the earth.” (Zec 4:11) Then I responded and
said to him, “What are these two olive trees, one at the right of the lampstand and the other at its left?”
(Zec 4:12) And I responded a second time and said to him, “What are these two olive branches which
empty golden oil from themselves by means of the two gold pipes?” (Zec 4:13) And he answered me
and said, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my master.” (Zec 4:14) And he said,
“These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Master1 of all the earth.” Footnote: 1See vv. 3

King David to rule! David wants mercy for his rebellious son- but YHWH allows
Yo’ab to smite him!
(2Sa 18:1) And Dawiḏ mustered the people who were with him, and set commanders of thousands
and commanders of hundreds over them. (2Sa 18:2) And Dawiḏ sent out one third of the
people under the hand of Yo’aḇ, and one third under the hand of Aḇishai son of Tseruyah, Yo’aḇ’s
brother, and one third under the hand of Ittai the Gittite. And the sovereign said to the people, “I shall
certainly go out with you too.” (2Sa 18:3) But the people answered, “Do not go out, for if we flee away,
they would not set heart upon us. Even if half of us die, they would not set heart upon us. For now, ten
thousand are like us. Therefore, it is better for you to support us from the city.” (2Sa 18:4) And the
sovereign said to them, “That which is good in your eyes I do.” And the sovereign stood beside the
gate, and all the people went out by hundreds and by thousands. (2Sa 18:5) And the sovereign
ordered Yo’aḇ, and Aḇishai and Ittai, saying, “Be gentle with the young man Aḇshalom for my sake.”
And all the people heard when the sovereign gave all the commanders orders concerning Aḇshalom.
(2Sa 18:6) So the people went out into the field to meet Yisra’ĕl. And the battle was in the forest of
Ephrayim, (2Sa 18:7) and the people of Yisra’ĕl were smitten there before the servants of Dawiḏ. And
the slaughter there that day was great – twenty thousand. (2Sa 18:8)
And the battle there was scattered over the face of all the land, and the forest devoured more people
that day than the sword devoured. (2Sa 18:9) And when Aḇshalom met the servants of Dawiḏ,
Aḇshalom was riding on a mule, and the mule went under the thick branches of a great terebinth tree,
and his head caught in the terebinth. And he was suspended between the heavens and earth, while
the mule which was under him passed on. (2Sa 18:10) And a certain man saw it and informed Yo’aḇ,
and said, “Look, I saw Aḇshalom hanging in a terebinth tree!” (2Sa 18:11) And Yo’aḇ said to the man
who informed him, “Now look, you saw, and why did you not smite him to the earth there? Then
I would have given you ten pieces of silver and a belt.” (2Sa 18:12) But the man answered Yo’aḇ,
“Though I were to receive a thousand pieces of silver in my hand, I would not raise my hand against
the son of the sovereign. Because in our hearing the sovereign ordered you and Aḇishai and Ittai,
saying, ‘Take heed, you who go against the youth, against Aḇshalom!’ (2Sa 18:13)
“Otherwise I would have been untrue to my own life. For no matter is hidden from the sovereign, and
you yourself would have set yourself against me.” (2Sa 18:14) And Yo’aḇ said, “Let me not waste time
here with you.” And he took three spears in his hand and thrust them through Aḇshalom’s heart, while
he was still alive in the midst of the terebinth tree. (2Sa 18:15) And ten young men who bore Yo’aḇ’s
armor went around, and smote Aḇshalom and put him to death. (2Sa 18:16) And Yo’aḇ blew the
ram’s horn, and the people returned from pursuing Yisra’ĕl, for Yo’aḇ had held the people back. (2Sa
18:17) And they took Aḇshalom and threw him into a large pit in the forest, and heaped a very large
pile of stones over him. And all Yisra’ĕl fled, each one to his tent. (2Sa 18:18) And Aḇshalom in his
lifetime had taken and set up a monument for himself, which is in the Sovereign’s Valley. For he said,
“I have no son to keep my name in remembrance.” And he called the monument after his own name.
And to this day it is called Aḇshalom’s Monument. (2Sa 18:19) And Aḥimaʽats son of Tsaḏoq said,
“Please let me run and take the news to the sovereign, for יהוה has avenged him of his enemies.” (2Sa
18:20) But Yo’aḇ said to him, “You are not the man to take the news today, but you shall take the news
another day. But today you do not take news, because the sovereign’s son is dead.” (2Sa 18:21) And
Yo’aḇ said to the Kushite, “Go, inform the sovereign what you have seen.”
And the Kushite bowed himself to Yo’aḇ and ran. (2Sa 18:22) And Aḥimaʽats son of Tsaḏoq said
again to Yo’aḇ, “And whatever might be, please let me also run after the Kushite.” And Yo’aḇ
said, “Why would you run, my son, there is no news to bring you reward.” (2Sa 18:23) “And whatever
might be,” he said, “let me run.” So he said to him, “Run.” And Aḥimaʽats ran by the way of the plain,
and passed the Kushite. (2Sa 18:24) Now Dawiḏ was sitting between the two gates. And the
watchman went up to the roof over the gate, to the wall, and lifted his eyes and looked and saw a man,
running alone. (2Sa 18:25) So the watchman called out and told the sovereign. And the sovereign
said, “If he is alone, there is news in his mouth.”
And he came nearer and nearer. (2Sa 18:26) And the watchman saw another man running, and the
watchman called out to the gatekeeper and said, “See, a man, running by himself!” And the sovereign
said, “This one is also bringing news.” (2Sa 18:27) And the watchman said, “I see the running of the
first is like the running of Aḥimaʽats son of Tsaḏoq.” And the sovereign said, “This is a good man, and
he comes with good news.” (2Sa 18:28) And Aḥimaʽats called out and said to the sovereign, “Peace!”
Then he bowed down with his face to the earth before the sovereign, and said, “Blessed be יהוה your
Elohim, who has surrendered the men who raised their hand against my master the sovereign!” (2Sa
18:29) And the sovereign said, “Peace to the young man, to Aḇshalom?” And Aḥimaʽats answered,
“When Yo’aḇ sent the sovereign’s servant and me your servant, I saw a great crowd, but I did not know
why.” (2Sa 18:30) And the sovereign said, “Turn aside and stand here.” And he turned aside
and stood still. (2Sa 18:31) And see, the Kushite came, and the Kushite said, “Receive news, my
master the sovereign! יהוה has avenged you this day of all those who rose against you.”
Something about a mom or dad- YHWH has given us forgiveness, mercy and
love for our children!
(2Sa 18:32) And the sovereign said to the Kushite, “Peace to the young man, to Aḇshalom?” And the
Kushite answered, “Let the enemies of my master the sovereign, and all who rise against you for evil,
be as that young man is!” (2Sa 18:33) And the sovereign was shaken, and went up to the room over
the gate, and wept. And as he went, he said this, “O my son Aḇshalom! My son, my son Aḇshalom, if
only I had died instead of you! O Aḇshalom my son, my son!” (2Sa 19:1) And it was reported to Yo’aḇ,
“See, the sovereign is weeping and mourning for Aḇshalom.” (2Sa 19:2) So the deliverance that day
was turned into mourning for all the people. For the people heard on that day, saying, “The sovereign
has been grieved for his son.” (2Sa 19:3) And the people stole back into the city that day, as people
who are ashamed steal away when they flee in battle. (2Sa 19:4) And the sovereign covered his face,
and the sovereign cried out with a loud voice, “O my son Aḇshalom! O Aḇshalom, my son, my son!”
(2Sa 19:5) And Yo’aḇ came into the house to the sovereign, and said, “Today you have put to shame
all your servants who today have saved your life, and the lives of your sons and daughters, and the
lives of your wives and the lives of your concubines, (2Sa 19:6) by loving those who hate you, and by
hating those who love you. For you have made it clear today that you have neither commanders nor
servants, for today I know that if Aḇshalom had lived and all of us had died today, then it would be right
in your eyes. (2Sa 19:7)
“And now, arise, go out and speak to the heart of your servants. For I swear by יהוה, if you do not go out,
not one passes the night with you. And that is worse for you than all the evil that has come upon you
from your youth until now.” (2Sa 19:8) So the sovereign rose up and sat in the gate. And they told all
the people, saying, “Look, the sovereign is sitting in the gate.” And all the people came before the
sovereign. As for Yisra’ĕl, they had fled, each one to his tent. (2Sa 19:9) And it came to be, that all the
people were contending throughout all the tribes of Yisra’ĕl, saying, “The sovereign delivered us from
the hand of the enemies, he rescued us from the hand of the Philistines, and now he has fled from the
land because of Aḇshalom, (2Sa 19:10) and Aḇshalom, whom we anointed over us, has died in battle.
And now, why are you silent about bringing back the sovereign?” (2Sa 19:11) And Sovereign Dawiḏ
sent to Tsaḏoq and Eḇyathar the priests, saying, “Speak to the elders of Yehuḏah, saying, ‘Why
are you the last to bring the sovereign back to his house, since the words of all Yisra’ĕl have come to
the sovereign, to his house? (2Sa 19:12) ‘You are my brothers; you are my bone and my flesh. Why
then are you the last to bring back the sovereign?’ (2Sa 19:13) “And say to Amasa, ‘Are you not my
bone and my flesh? Elohim do so to me, and more also, if you are not commander of the army before
me all the days in place of Yo’aḇ.’ ” (2Sa 19:14)
Thus he swayed the hearts of all the men of Yehuḏah as one man, so that they sent to the sovereign,
saying “Return, you and all your servants!” (2Sa 19:15) So the sovereign returned and came to the
Yardĕn. And Yehuḏah came to Gilgal, to go to meet the sovereign, to bring the sovereign over the
Yardĕn. (2Sa 19:16) Shimʽi son was from Gĕra, a Binyamite who was from Baḥurim, hastened and
came down with the men of Yehuḏah to meet Sovereign Dawiḏ. (2Sa 19:17) And with him were a
thousand men of Binyamin, and Tsiḇa the servant of the house of Sha’ul, and his fifteen sons, and his
twenty servants with him. And they rushed over the Yardĕn before the sovereign. (2Sa 19:18) And they
passed over the ford to bring over the sovereign’s household, and to do what was good in his eyes.
And Shimʽi son of Gĕra fell down before the sovereign when he had passed over the Yardĕn, (2 Sa 19:
19) and said to the sovereign, “Do not let my master reckon crookedness to me, neither remember
what wrong your servant did on the day that my master the sovereign left Yerushalayim, that the
sovereign should take it to heart. (2Sa 19:20) “For I, your servant, know that I have sinned. And see, I
have come today, first of all the house of Yosĕph, to go down to meet my master the sovereign.” (2Sa
19:21) But Aḇishai son of Tseruyah answered and said, “Should Shimʽi not be put to death for this,
because he cursed the anointed of 2יהוה?” (Sa 19:22)
And Dawiḏ said, “What have I to do with you, you sons of Tseruyah, that you are to be adversaries to
me today; should any man be put to death in Yisra’ĕl today? Do I not know that I am sovereign over
Yisra’ĕl today?” (2Sa 19:23) So the sovereign said to Shimʽi, “You do not die.” And the sovereign
swore to him. (2Sa 19:24) And Mephiḇosheth son of Sha’ul came down to meet the sovereign. And he
had not attended to his feet, nor trimmed his moustache, nor washed his garments, from the day the
sovereign went away until the day he came back in peace. (2Sa 19:25) And it came to be, when
he had come to Yerushalayim to meet the sovereign that the sovereign said to him, “Why did you not
go with me, Mephiḇosheth?” (2Sa 19:26) And he answered, “My master, O sovereign, my servant
deceived me. For your servant said, ‘I am saddling a donkey for myself to ride on it and go to the
sovereign,’ because your servant is lame. (2Sa 19:27) “And he spoke slander against your servant to
my master the sovereign, but my master the sovereign is as a messenger of Elohim. Therefore do
what is good in your eyes. (2Sa 19:28) “For my father’s entire house were but dead men before my
master the sovereign. Yet you set your servant among those who eat at your own table. Therefore what
right have I still to cry out any more to the sovereign?” (2Sa 19:29) Then the sovereign said to him,
“Why do you speak any more of your matters? I have said, ‘You and Tsiḇa share the land.’ ” (2Sa 19:
30) And Mephiḇosheth said to the sovereign, “Rather, let him take it all, since my master the sovereign
has come back in peace to his own house.”(2Sa 19:31) And Barzillai the Gilʽaḏite came down from
Roḡelim and passed over the Yardĕn with the sovereign, to send him on his way over the
Yardĕn. (2Sa 19:32)
And Barzillai was a very aged man, eighty years old. And he had sustained the sovereign while he was
dwelling at Maḥanayim, for he was a very rich man. (2Sa 19:33) And the sovereign said to Barzillai,
“Pass over with me, and I shall provide for you with me in Yerushalayim.” (2Sa 19:34) But Barzillai
said to the sovereign, “How many are the days of my life that I should go up with the sovereign to
Yerushalayim? (2Sa 19:35) “I am now eighty years old. Do I discern between the good and evil? Does
your servant taste what I eat or what I drink? Do I still hear the voice of singing men and singing
women? Why then should your servant be a further burden to my master the sovereign? (2Sa 19:36)
“Your servant would only pass over the Yardĕn with the sovereign for a short distance. And why should
the sovereign repay me with such a reward? (2Sa 19:37)
“Please let your servant turn back again to die in my own city, near the burying-place of my father and
mother. But here is your servant Kimham, let him pass over with my master the sovereign, and do for
him what is good in your eyes.” (2Sa 19:38) And the sovereign answered, “Kimham is passing over
with me, and let me do for him what is good in your eyes. Now whatever you choose of me, I do for
you.” (2Sa 19:39) Then all the people went over the Yardĕn. And when the sovereign had passed over,
the sovereign kissed Barzillai and blessed him, and he returned to his own place. (2Sa 19:40)
And the sovereign passed over to Gilgal, and Kimham passed over with him. And all the people of
Yehuḏah brought the sovereign over, and also half the people of Yisra’ĕl.

(2Sa 19:41) And see, all the men of Yisra’ĕl were coming to the sovereign! And they said to the
sovereign, “Why have our brothers, the men of Yehuḏah, stolen you away and brought the sovereign,
and his household, and all Dawiḏ’s men with him over the Yardĕn?” (2Sa 19:42) And all the men of
Yehuḏah answered the men of Yisra’ĕl, “Because the sovereign is our relative. And why are you
displeased over this matter? Have we at all eaten at the sovereign’s cost? Or has he given us any
gift?” (2Sa 19:43) And the men of Yisra’ĕl answered the men of Yehuḏah, and said, “We have
ten parts in the sovereign, and in Dawiḏ too, we have more than you. Why then did you despise us?
Was it not our advice first to bring back our sovereign?” But the words of the men of Yehuḏah were
harsher than the words of the men of Yisra’ĕl.
On an on it goes, IF we have no part with the KING- we might just go start
a new religion…or die trying.
(2Sa 20:1) And there came to be a man of Beliyaʽal, whose name was Sheḇa son of Biḵri, a
Binyamite. And he blew a ram’s horn, and said, “We have no part in Dawiḏ, nor do we have inheritance
in the son of Yishai – each one to his tents, O Yisra’ĕl!” (2Sa 20:2) Then all the men of Yisra’ĕl
deserted Dawiḏ, to follow Sheḇa the son of Biḵri. But the men of Yehuḏah, from the Yardĕn as far as
Yerushalayim, clung to their sovereign. (2Sa 20:3) And Dawiḏ came to his house at Yerushalayim.
And the sovereign took the ten women, his concubines whom he had left to look after the house, and
put them in a protected house and supported them, but did not go in to them. So they were shut up to
the day of their death, living in widowhood. (2Sa 20:4) And the sovereign said to Amasa, “Call the men
of Yehuḏah for me within three days, and be present here yourself.” (2Sa 20:5) And Amasa went to
call the men of Yehuḏah. But he delayed longer than the appointed time which Dawiḏ had appointed
him. (2Sa 20:6) And Dawiḏ said to Aḇishai, “Now Sheḇa son of Biḵri is going to do us more evil than
Aḇshalom. Take the servants of your master, and pursue him, lest he find for himself walled cities,
and escape us.” (2Sa 20:7)
Then the men of Yo’aḇ went out after him, with the Kerĕthites and the Pelĕthites, and all the mighty
men. And they went out of Yerushalayim to pursue Sheḇa son of Biḵri. (2Sa 20:8) When they
were near the large stone which is in Giḇʽon, Amasa came before them. And Yo’aḇ was dressed in
battle armor, and on it was a girdle with a sword fastened in its sheath at his hips. And as he went
forward, it fell out. (2Sa 20:9) And Yo’aḇ said to Amasa, “Peace, my brother?” And Yo’aḇ took Amasa
by the beard with his right hand to kiss him. (2Sa 20:10) But Amasa was not on guard against the
sword in Yo’aḇ’s hand. And he struck him with it in the stomach, and his inward parts poured out on
the ground, and he did not strike him again, and he died. Then Yo’aḇ and Aḇishai his brother, pursued
Sheḇa son of Biḵri. (2Sa 20:11)
And a man, one of Yo’aḇ’s men, stood beside him, and said, “Whoever is well pleased with Yo’aḇ and
whoever is for Dawiḏ, let him follow Yo’aḇ!” (2Sa 20:12) And Amasa was rolling in his blood in the
middle of the highway. And the man saw that all the people stood still, so he moved Amasa from the
highway to the field and threw a garment over him, when he saw that everyone who came upon him
halted. (2Sa 20:13) When he was removed from the highway, all the men passed on after Yo’aḇ to
pursue Sheḇa son of Biḵri. (2Sa 20:14) And he passed over through all the tribes of Yisra’ĕl to Aḇĕl,
and to Bĕyth Maʽaḵah, and to all the Bĕrites. And they were assembled and went after him too. (2Sa 20:
15) And they went and besieged him in Aḇĕl of Bĕyth Maʽaḵah, and they cast up a siege mound
against the city. And it stood in a rampart, and all the people who were with Yo’aḇ battered the wall to
throw it down. (2Sa 20:16) Then a wise woman called out from the city, “Listen, listen! Please say to
Yo’aḇ, ‘Come nearby, so that I speak to you.’ ” (2Sa 20:17) and he came near to her, and the woman
said, “Are you Yo’aḇ?” And he answered, “I am.” Then she said to him, “Listen to the words of your
female servant.” And he answered, “I am listening.”
(2Sa 20:18) Then she spoke, saying, “In former times they often spoke, saying, ‘Let them inquire of
Aḇĕl,’ and so they ended the matter. (2Sa 20:19) “I am of the peaceable and trustworthy ones in Yisra’
ĕl. You seek to destroy a city and a mother in Yisra’ĕl. Why do you swallow up the inheritance of יהוה?”
2(Sa 20:20) And Yo’aḇ answered and said, “Far be it, far be it from me to swallow up or to destroy!
(2Sa 20:21) “That is not the case. But a man from the mountains of Ephrayim, Sheḇa son of Biḵri by
name, has raised his hand against the sovereign, against Dawiḏ. Hand him over, him alone, and I
withdraw from the city.” And the woman said to Yo’aḇ, “Look, his head is going to be thrown to you over
the wall.” (2Sa 20:22) So the woman in her wisdom went to all the people. And they cut off the head of
Sheḇa son of Biḵri, and threw it out to Yo’aḇ. Then he blew a ram’s horn, and they dispersed from the
city, each one to his tent. And Yo’aḇ returned to the sovereign at Yerushalayim. (2Sa 20:23) Now Yo’aḇ
was over all the army of Yisra’ĕl, and Benayah son of Yehoyaḏa was over the Kerĕthites and the
Pelĕthites, (2Sa 20:24) and Aḏoram was over the compulsory labor, and Yehoshaphat son of Aḥiluḏ
was recorder, (2Sa 20:25) and Shewa was scribe, and Tsaḏoq and Eḇyathar were the priests, (2Sa
20:26) and Ira the Yaʽirite was priest to Dawiḏ.
