Forward
God is speaking and showing himself to anyone who will open their hearts and listen to him. His words are filled with wisdom, insight, and direction. It is his gift to us. He is willing to guide each one of us to our destiny and into a level of success we never even dreamed about if we’ll let him be in control. He has given each one of us gifts to help us succeed in life. The Lord told me this message:
"In front of each of us is a small present. It is a gift from God. It is such a small package, that unless we open it, we may not even see it.
"Only we can open it, no one else. Only we can see what it is. It is our responsibility to recognize this gift, use it, and develop it.
"It may seem small at first, but over time, it will grow and become stronger, until one day it will have a strength of its own and be stronger than us.
"At that point we can sit back and smile for it is now carrying us to our destination; to peace, happiness, and back to God, who is the one who gave us the gift knowing it would make a way for us." - Unknown Prophet
This book is my gift to you, in hopes that you will be able to discover your gifts, trust God, and fulfill your purpose in life.

“Heal the World”
"If God gave you a mouth, It is merely a gift. Treasure it, use it wisely, It will bring comfort into this world.
"Chose your words with great care; Speak with great dignity and clarity; For the Lord gave us a mouth, Not for his sake, But for ours. For we need not a mouth to speak to the Lord; We only need our hearts.
"It is with our mouth That we speak unto our brotheren; Let it be an instrument of love, Rather than a weapon of Satan.
"If God gave you eyes, There are merely a gift from the Lord. For we do not need eyes to see him, Only our hearts.
"So use your eyes with great discretion; Learn to see the truth; For this world is filled with fears and walls If we take our eyes off of the Lord.
Trust not thine own eyes; Satan is a master at illusion. Trust into the Lord, And he shall show you the way.
"If God gave you ears, They are merely gifts that were given To hear the music of nature; Not the vile of Satan. We need not trust each other with what we hear, We need only trust what the Lord says.
"So find a quiet space in your mind; Listen to the Lord, And you will find your heart restored. Trust not thy words of thine ears; Only the words in thy heart; Which were spoken from the Lord unto you, To guide you through your mission in life.
"So speak unto the Lord, and you shall be heard; Look unto the Lord, and you shall see; Listen to the Lord, and you shall hear; But not with thy mouth, thine eyes, nor thy ears, ...But with thy heart.
"For in the heart lies all truth. So bring thy heart to the Lord, And then thy mouth, thine eyes, and thy ears Will be trustworthy then To heal this world."

As Annette prayed today, she finally saw how ironic
the devil was in her life. The more he tried to destroy
her, the more he brought her closer to God.
He was like a wedge trying to come in between
Annette and God, only the Devil hit her at such an
angle that he propelled her towards God, rather than
away from God.
But the stronger his attacks, the more convinced she
was that God must have something great in store for
her or the devil wouldn’t be coming against her so
strongly.
Each time Satan attacked Annette, she would go
running to God and cling to him even more than
before. Now, she must make sure that she never has
to run to God because she now stays by his side all
the time. God once told her;
“Even if the Devil was all around you, he can’t
touch you if you’ve stayed by Me. Anything that
he tries to do to trip you up I will use to bless
you, so do not fear anything. Just keep your
eyes stayed on Jesus.”
Annette thanks Satan for defeating his own plan and
strengthening her relationship with God. She smiles
when she sees a problem now, because she knows
it’s going to become a blessing eventually. Her job is
to keep the faith, honor and praise God in everything.

Kelle once asked God why He kept having her go
through so many trials. She was exhausted, she
wondered when was enough, enough? God replied:
“Do you think the best warriors come from
classrooms, or rather, from experience out on
a battlefield? A warrior doesn’t become strong
and brave by running away from the battle; he
becomes strong on the battlefield.
“Right now you have fear in your heart and you’
re blown around like the wind, afraid of even
yourself. Trust in me, fight for the children in
this world, and do what I have asked you to
do. You will come out victoriously in the end.”
“Always keep focused on me and you’ll be
filled, guided, and protected by the light of
God. I already have enough people in the
world, but I need more warriors.
“Think about how a warrior acts. They don’t
slump over and only do what is absolutely
necessary – they go above and beyond what it
necessary. They hold themselves upright and
are ready, willing, and able to carry out all of
God’s orders.
“If I tell them to run, they run, and they will
keep running even if they die running. I want
people who are focused, disciplined, and
selfless.
“Get the ‘I’ out of your vocabulary. Everything
you do should be for God, of God, and for my
glory. The more you lose yourself, the more
you’ll find yourself and my peace.
“As long as you stay focused on God, you’ll
have a peace not from this world or in this
world. You were meant to fly through this
world and spread my light, love, and messages
– not to walk in this world becoming part of it
and having it weigh you down.
“Cast your fears upon me – give them to me.
Cast your debts on me, they are my debts
which are already paid.”
Learning to trust in God is a daily effort. We must
stay in His word and presence so that when we are
in a battle, whether it is in the mind or circumstantial,
we will remember God’s power, and that God doesn’t
run from anything or anyone. The quickest way
through trials and battles, is to keep praise and
songs on our lips and in our hearts.

"Becoming a Warrior for God”
|
Lisa was working in San Diego as an aeronautical illustrator for
the H-3 helicopters. One night after work she went out to dinner
with some friends.
Half way through their dinner, a drunk man came over to their
table and proceeded to make a scene. They politely asked him
to leave, but instead he pulled up a chair and sat down. "Hi, my
name's Ricky," he slurred before sliding onto the floor. As he
attempted to stumble back into his chair, the restaurant manager
came over and firmly asked them to get this man out of his
establishment. Despite the fact that they didn’t even know Ricky,
they felt obligated to help him.
They carried Ricky across the street to a diner where they
ordered some coffee and food for him. He slowly sobered up
and thanked them for their assistance. Then he proceeded to
tell them his story.
He said he owned a successful electronics company back in
North Carolina when he had fallen in love with a woman who was
visiting from San Diego. After having a long distance relationship
for a couple years, he really felt that she was the one the only for
him.
So he flew out to California with an engagement ring to ask for
her hand in marriage. She agreed, but only if he would give her
access to his company’s bank account. Ricky refused, saying
that the money was not his money, but the company’s and it was
going to stay that way.
The next day she dumped him. Ricky was so shocked and his
heart so broken that he didn’t want to live anymore. He began
taking drugs and drinking to try and numb the pain. He knew he
was too messed up to return home.
As the weeks went by, Lisa began helping him detoxify his body
and heal his heart. She stopped by his house every day after
work to help him. He kept calling her ‘Angel,’ which she figured
was a slang term they used in North Carolina. Lisa had lots of
friends from the deep South who always called everyone sugar
and honey, so she thought nothing of it.
One day Ricky called her at work and told her it wasn’t necessary
for her to stop by his home anymore. He told her that he had
finally come out of his depression and was ready to return home
to run his company.
She said that she was flying to San Francisco to work on a
project that week and would see him when she returned. But he
said he going back home in a couple days and wouldn’t be there
when she returned. So they said their good-byes on the phone
and promised to keep in touch.
But when Lisa returned home from San Francisco, she looked
around the airport for her roommate who was supposed to pick
her up. She couldn’t find her anywhere. A man with a friendly
smile was walking towards her. It was Ricky.
“What are you doing here?” she asked in amazement. He was
supposed to have left days ago.
“I have something I wanted to tell you, and I wanted to tell you in
person. I couldn’t leave until I told you the whole story.” They
walked over to a row of chairs and sat down. He turned to look at
her directly in the eyes. He took her hand lovingly, looked her
square in the eyes, and asked; “Did you ever wonder why I
always called you ‘Angel?’”
“No,” She responded a little hesitatingly. “I assumed that’s what
all you North Carolinians call each other.”
He laughed and then his face took on a serious look. He
continued, “The night that I met you, I was planning on
committing suicide. I had called my mother to tell her good bye,
that I loved her, and that I had decided to end my life.
She cried, and asked me not to do anything until she prayed and
heard a message from God. She said she would call me back
with that message.”
He looked away at this point with tears welling up in his eyes.
“She called me back the next morning. She said she prayed all
night waiting to hear from the Lord. Finally, the Lord told her to
tell me not to do anything. She said that God said he was
sending an angel to save me.”
His eyes then turned back and looked squarely into Lisa’s.
There were tears now running down his face, but not tears of
sadness, they were tears of joy streaming from his face which
was glowing now; “Then I met you. You’re the angel that my
Mom said God was sending, yet I couldn’t bring myself to tell you
until now. I couldn’t leave without telling you that story and
thanking you for saving my life.”
Lisa cried as she suddenly realized she had been an instrument
that God used to help this man. She also realized that God can
use anyone to be another’s angel. We are never alone once we
realize this. God hears our cries and sends angels to help us,
whether seen or unseen, angels are everywhere around us
always.
It was the middle of winter. Snow storm after snow storm pounded the East coast. Scott’s driveway was
starting to look like a white grand canyon, his car was a just a white bump. He had just received a
kitchen knife for Christmas. It was one of those super sharp knives that never needed sharpening.
This was probably the worst gift anyone could have given Scott because of his history with knives and
finger cuts. He knew it would just be a matter of time…
Scott had been to the hospital several times in the past having his fingers sewed back together. He
had done enough personal experimentation to know that serrated knife cuts were the slowest to heal
because of their jagged edge. So here he was, early in the morning, slicing a bagel. He was trying to be
very careful with his new ‘finger weapon’. But within the 48 hours of owning the knife the inevitable
happened. He looked down to see the knife buried in his index finger… again!
“No!” He thought. He had been so careful. Yet, there in front of him was an all too familiar sight. He
had felt the blade hit the bone, and knew instantly that this was going to be another one for the hospital
to handle.
Wrapping the serrated finger up in a towel, he squeezed it tight while holding it up over his head to
slow the bleeding down. Looking out the window, he saw a white mound that represented his car. The
driveway hadn’t been plowed yet, and it was over ¼ of a mile long. He knew he wasn’t going anywhere
soon.Holding his hand up to God, he looked up and shouted, “Lord, heal my finger! Please, heal my
finger, I know you can heal it Lord."
“Let go of the fear,” God said.
"What do you mean?" Scott was confused by this reply.
“You are afraid of the pain. Let go of the fear of the pain and all will be healed. Fear blocks things from
being healed. Let go of your fear and don’t be afraid to feel the pain.”
So he closed his eyes and saw himself letting go of the fear. Although he could feel the pain
associated with the deep cut, he tried to focus on God’s words. It was extremely uncomfortable, but
eventually it lost its power over him. Scott took a deep breath in, and then pulled God’s light into his
body. Lifting his finger up to God, he asked God quietly and peacefully to heal it.
Instantly, the pain disappeared. Scott removed the blood-soaked towel expecting to have to wrap it in
a new towel, or at least apply a bandages. But the finger was no longer bleeding.
Not only was it no longer bleeding, it was completely sealed! Even more surprising, was that there was
no soreness or pain in the finger. Within 24 hours, there wasn’t even a sign that there was ever a cut.
Scott realized that day how much he had learned from a silly little finger. If we could all live with a “little
finger” faith everyday, imagine how the world would change! (Doctors would be put out of business!)
