A: "For it pleased the Father that in Him [Jesus] all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all the things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you [to the Father] holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight - if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospelwhich you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister."
These verses tell us that Jesus, through His sacrificial blood, has reconciled the Christian to the Father. The Father sees the Christian holy, separate from the world and without sin, because Jesus paid the price for the Christian to be free from blame and reproof before God. But we need to look at "if we continue in the faith".
The very fact that Paul said, "if you continue in the faith" means it is possible that you might not. In other words, there is eternal security in Christ, as long as you stay in Christ. No one can steal your salvation. God will not let you go. However, the Word teaches that it is possible for a Christian to give up the gift of grace - His salvation.
Jesus said that once you receive Him as Lord and Savior and are baptised with water and the Holy Spirit, you will have eternal life. But then He also says narrow are the gates of heaven and few will enter, and many will say "Lord Lord" and He'll say "I know you not...depart from me..." (Luke 13: 24-27) Once you receive Jesus as the Christ, you are given eternal life, BUT you must STAY in the faith.
The Bible challenges us to remain faithful to the end. How do we know that you have remained in the faith? You will have many fruits of the Spirit on you (James 2: & Luke 6:43-45). Another way is to have spirits subject to you (Luke 10:17-20).
That is easy proof that you are written in the book of life. A quiet way is to have such faith as to pray in the Spirit. Continually praying in the Spirit deepens one's faith and proves salvation. Is the chicken first or the egg? Faith is the chicken, Spirit filled prayer is the egg. Look for prayer warriors with lots of eggs hatching and nourishing around them. That is eternal proof. Another way is to confess your faith in Jesus the Christ publicly (Matt. 10:32-33). If you do, Jesus will confess you before the Father. All good or evil leads from the heart. God knows everyone's heart, (Eph 3:17) by faith, being rooted and grounded in love. Jesus will not live in a stone heart.
Luther wrote, "James is an Epistle of straw." Why? Mr. Luther had been worn out by the law. He was born anew, when he found Romans 1:17; the Just shall live by faith. Luther is correct. James is equally correct. James points out that potentially such a faith can be dead. Because, the intellectual belief is once saved, always saved. Most Bible-believing Theologians disagree with this view. I argue that once saved, always faithful, leads to eternal life. If you have no works, as James 2 points out, of what are you saved? The difference is as simple as faith and faithful are different. The initial faith is critical for changing the heart from stone to flesh (Ezek 36:26). But you must keep the fleshly heart pumping all your life to be faithful.
According to Matt 10:1, Mark 3:13 and Luke 10, Jesus gave the same power to all 12 disciples. That means they were all equally written in the book of life. According to Acts 1:25, of what did Judas fall from? And where did he fall to? Judas had salvation, baptism and Holy Spirit power. He was written in the book of life. It took some effort, but he ended up in hell.
A Baptist Pastor once said, "They pulled the thief down off the cross and baptized him. They put him back on his cross." It is silly to be such a legalist that you ignore one simple thing, "Jesus." Baptism is a wonderful fruit of salvation. To be a faithful Christian and not be baptized is unwise and less than fulfilling. But just as the thief gained paradise that day, so will all that call on Jesus' name prior to death gain heaven without baptism.
Many years ago I attended a Roman Catholic funeral. The Priest stated, "I asked this man if he believe in the Mother Church?" He replied, "I do. The Priest then exclaimed, "That means he's in heaven." I disagree. One must confess Jesus is Lord to achieve heaven. I hope by grace that man is there. It is God's decision. But the door is narrow. The door is very narrow. We all need Jesus to get through that door.
Salvation STARTS with accepting Jesus as Lord & Savior, it is really very simple...Jesus said we must become as "little children" or we will NOT see the kingdom of God (Matt. 18:3). Little children are very trusting. So WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN, so we will be as children. A child will also emulate their parents...they do so to please them. Salvation is a gift from God, not of works, lest any man should boast of that he has earned it:
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
BUT verse 10 is the qualifier...it says that: we are created His workmanship UNTO good works, which God has ordained that we SHOULD walk in them (the good works). In other words, IF someone is truly saved\born again, they will have good works in their lives...this is NOT just talking about what they do as "religious service", but more as what they do in their lives TOO.
Accepting Jesus as Lord & Savior, many think by saying a "simple little prayer" they are saved...they MIGHT be...it has a LOT to do with what is REALLY going on in their heart.
Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
When we receive Jesus into our hearts, He gives us the power to "become" the sons of God. The word "become" literally means "to generate" (or CAUSE TO BE)". Basically, when we ask Jesus into our heart, HIS seed is planted in us. What we do with that seed is up to us. Remember the parable of the sower & the seed (Matt. 13:1-11, Mk 4:1-9, Lk 8:5-8)???
Phi 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Phi 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Phi 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Phi 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Phi 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: Phi 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Phi 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Phi 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Phi 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Salvation is the "out working" of the seed that God has planted in our hearts & remains in us. out working is speaking of OUT OF our inner most being (our heart).
1Jo 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1Jo 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 1Jo 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1Jo 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 1Jo 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 1Jo 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 1Jo 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1Jo 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1Jo 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
A Christian doesn't commit sin. We all may "fail" & sin occasionally, time & again, but that isn't what this means. The word "COMMIT" means a continuous action...practicing habitually.
Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Joh 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
1Pe 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 1Pe 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 1Pe 1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 1Pe 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Being BORN AGAIN is by the WORD of GOD, which takes root in us and grow. A person CAN be born again instantly...others may take some time...some people may take years...others are not saved at all.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 2Pe 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 2Pe 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 2Pe 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 2Pe 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
GROW in GRACE & INTIMACY (intimate knowledge)
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Its all about intimacy with God!!! This word KNEW is the same word that is spoken here:
Mat 1:24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: Mat 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
It means INTIMATE...Joseph was NOT INTIMATE (sexually) with Mary until AFTER Jesus was born. The sad thing is, the vast majority of people that call themselves Christians have NO or little intimacy with God. They are only religious. Spiritually they are EMPTY. Remember the parable of the wheat & the tares? A tare looks JUST like wheat, except it gives NOR FRUIT. Many profess "Jesus", but they have NOTHING inside...they are TARES.
Mat 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: Mat 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. Mat 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. Mat 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? Mat 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
It says that we aren't to uproot the tares, but to let them grow along with the wheat. I hopefully would try to convert them, but it might not be possible. It is up to their hearts. People REALLY need to get on their faces & mean business with God!A person that is SAVED...BORN AGAIN...will have fruit in their lives:
Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Gal 5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Eph 5:1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. Eph 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Eph 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. Eph 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Eph 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Eph 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Eph 5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Eph 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. Eph 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Eph 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Eph 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Eph 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Eph 5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Looking at the majority of the "Church", we see MORE of the works of the flesh then we we the fruit of the Spirit. The Lord told me that the majority of people that call themselves Christians have NOT so much as led ONE person to Jesus. One day, they will stand before HIM & have NOTHING to show Him (parable of the Talents).
Mat 25:14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. Mat 25:15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Mat 25:16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. Mat 25:17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. Mat 25:18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. Mat 25:19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. Mat 25:20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. Mat 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Mat 25:22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. Mat 25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Mat 25:24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: Mat 25:25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. Mat 25:26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Mat 25:27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Mat 25:28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. Mat 25:29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. Mat 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
He that EATS His flesh & DRINKS His blood, NOT saying some little prayer...this means continually eats & drinks. If a person is TRULY doing this, they WILL CHANGE...they will NOT remain the same...they will BE BORN AGAIN.
1Jo 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. 1Jo 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. 1Jo 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 1Jo 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 1Jo 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
Again, verse 18 is referring to a person that DOESN'T PRACTICE SIN. He that is BORN of God KEEPS himself (has a changed heart & turns from sin, does NOT allow sin to be practiced). The wicked one (the devil) can NOT touch him in a habitual way....Again referring to practicing sin. How can people miss this??? He says THAT WE MAY KNOW HIM...we MAY...in other words...YES, YOU MAY....He gives us the privilege to KNOW HIM, but MOST reject the idea & keep Him at a distance....they don't want to get TOO close to HIM...He might make them stop doing what they LOVE to do...instead of love Him & DO what He does...
Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, AND shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Rom 10:10 FOR with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:11 FOR the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Rom 10:12 FOR there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. Rom 10:13 FOR whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
The AND & FOR(s) are IMPORTANT. The AND means BOTH are necessary. The FOR(s) mean "BECAUSE" (meaning what was said PRIOR is qualified BY what follows AFTER-because). In other words, when a person confesses Jesus AS LORD with their mouth they are saying that their lives are SUBMITTED UNTO HIM & they now live FOR HIM. It says in verse 10: FOR (because) with the heart man believes unto righteousness...this is what happens FIRST. Then the believing in their heart causes them to CONFESS HIM AS LORD. By believing that God raised Jesus from the dead they SHALL BE SAVED BECAUSE the power of the resurrection from the dead is where the POWER to believe & revive our dead spirit. With their heart they BELIEVE UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS. In other words, they begin living RIGHTEOUSLY in agreement with their confession.
Yes...the 4 soils & the seeds in Matt. 13 are VERY important! ONLY ONE brings forth FRUIT: 30, 60 100 fold...ONE brings NO FRUIT UNTO PERFECTION. Which means, that fruit begins, but doesn't mature properly due to the CARES of this life & deceitfulness of riches, which CHOKE the word (seed of God). The 3rd ONE begins to grow, but when tribulation or persecution for the word's sake occurs, offense occurs & they fall away because it has no ROOT (DEPTH) because of a rocky-hardened heart. And lastly, is the ONE that was sown on the wayside (seed barely got into the ground), then the devil comes & is able to devour the word, because though it was "received", it wasn't "understood"....just like we are talking about...people are so confused about salvation...they just don't understand it!! Q: Do people who commit suicide go to heaven or hell?
A: A person who attempts or commits suicide is not in their right mind (severe depression or mental). We know God is merciful and takes into consideration our situation and circumstances. If mercy can be shown to murders and such (1Cor 6:9-11) surely He will take into count the severe emotional stress and any other factors that might cause this tragedy. Our hope lies in the hands of our merciful heavenly father "who forgives in a large way" Isaiah 55:7.
In any moral, or immoral, act there are two important factors to be taken into consideration: (1) freedom and (2) understanding.
1. Freedom: Two 8 year olds throw stones at a defenceless animal; one does it simply because he wants to, whilst the other is threatened with harm by a 16 year old if he does not throw the stones. The one who is threatened has less freedom and so is less culpable.
2. Understanding: Two people throw stones at a defenceless animal: one person is 8 years of age and the other is 16 years of age. It is obvious that the 16 year old has more understanding of the situation and is therefore more culpable. However, if the 16 year old has severe mental problems then he will be less culpable than the 8 year old.
It is important to remember that understanding and morality are strongly influenced by upbringing and social environment. A child who is raised to believe that dishonesty is acceptable will be less culpable than one who has been taught to value truthfulness.
It would be argued by theologians of morality that a person who habitually considers suicide is not in a healthy emotional state because the instinct of self preservation is one of the most basic humans possess. A depressed emotional state reduces a person's freedom and thus culpability. If mental illness is added to the scenario, then the level of responsibility is greatly diminished. From the perspective of most religions, a person who suffers from a mental illness (or depression) does not have a sufficient amount of freedom for the act of suicide to be considered a sin. Therefore, it is unimaginable that God would keep such a person from entering Heaven. Bottom line, we are not to judge who is and isn't going to heaven. We are to walk out His commandments which we will be held responsible for. Our job is to help others, to lift them up in prayer and with encouraging words, to come together as a family of believers so no one feels alone or defeated out there in this cold dark world.
Q: Could you tell me if the rapture happens before tribulation?
A: (Revelation 8:1-2) "And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets."
The last of these seven trumpet judgements is "the last trump:" (1 Cor 15:52), when "the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." This is obviously referring to "the first resurrection" of the righteous dead, which takes place at the rapture, and shows that the rapture occurs at the end of the trumpet judgements. As these trumpet judgements occur just before Jesus returns, it shows that the rapture occurs at Jesus' only coming, which is after the tribulation (Matt 24:29-31). Other evidence confirms this timing:
"But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he has declared to his servants the prophets." - Rev 10:7
What "mystery" of God will be finished at the sound of the seventh trumpet? It must at least include the one Paul talked about when he said:
"Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed."- 1 Cor 15:51- 52
This is the rapture, and confirms that it happens at the seventh trumpet judgement:
"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever." - Rev 11:15
When do the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of Christ? After the seventh trumpet, at the start of the millennium, showing that the rapture takes place just before the start of the millennium, on "the last day", at Jesus' second coming after the tribulation. MATT 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken; 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
MARK 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26 Then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
1 THES 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain to the coming of the Lord shall not go before those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Note: Other scriptures also indicate that Jesus will come in the clouds with great power and glory at his second coming (Dan 7:13; Matt 26:64; Mark 14:62; Luke 21:27; Rev 1:7) In both accounts it happens after the tribulation (Matthew 24:29; Mark 13:24), and so refutes both the errors of a pre-tribulation rapture, and a mid-tribulation rapture.
Q: How can you tell a true prophet from a false one?
A: Prophets are called to be God's messengers. Prophets not sent by God are called False Prophets EVEN THOUGH THEY MAY PROPHECY ACCURATELY. God uses both throughout the Bible. Balaam and his talking donkey (Num 22:21-), he was paid to curse the Jews. He couldn't. We are to respect true Prophets. We should ignore and wait until God kills the False Prophets.
Test all messages from God (1st Thess. 5:16-22). If they do not claim that Jesus is fully God and fully man, run away. Satan is a great Theologian. Never discuss Theology with him. Just rebuke him in Jesus name, but only if you have Jesus in your heart. Prophets work within portals to the spirit world. If a person is not called to work in a spiritual way by God, they will reach a messenger, a satanic messenger. Please stay way from Ouija boards, Magic 8 balls, Taro Cards and all that crud. Your personal spirit guide is itching to deceive you. Don't open the portal!
We have been in the Church Age for nearly 2,000 years. We will soon enter the Kingdom Age. We have taken the church away from its home-Jerusalem, and away from the cultivated olive branches (Rom 11:24) - the Jews. Read the first 3 chapters of Revelation. The church is a divided mess. What do you call a person that makes their body a business? A prostitute! The church resembles a business! We are to be one Holy church in Jesus! He is coming back to Jerusalem to reign 1,000 years with one Holy bride-his church. He needs us prepared in our hearts. We need circumcised hearts.
Someone has to ready the bride for the bridegroom! It is that close. Someone has to shout from the mountaintops that Jesus wants us to repent! It is your job to ready yourself. God has been telling me "Readiness" is a key word. Very few are listening to the True Prophets. What Barbara (aka "The Unknown Prophet") is saying is the truth. Test her. She matches up with other True Prophets.
1. Deuteronomy 18:21-22, "And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him."
The true Prophet of the Lord predicts that which does come to pass. If the Prophet's predictions fail, they are exposed as NOT of God.
2 Numbers 12:6, "And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream."
The true Prophet of the Lord will receive visions or dreams from the Lord.
3. Numbers 24:4 "He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: "Numbers 24:16, "He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:"
4. Daniel 10:17, "For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me."
When in "vision" a true Prophet will NOT breath. "Inspiration" = God Breathed, Therefore, since the Almighty is breathing through the Prophet communicating His Truth, the Prophet has no need to breath
5. Daniel 10:17, "For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me."
The true Prophet will collapse with absolutely no strength in him/her
7. Jeremiah 28:9, "The prophet which prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him."
A true Prophet will be 100% accurate. there is absolutely no margin for error.
8. 2 Peter 1:20, "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." A true Prophet NEVER gives his private interpretation.
He only shares what the Lord reveals. Scripture defines Scripture, not man.
9. 2 Peter 1:21, "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." A true Prophet only prophecies in the name of the Lord. He only seeks to glorify the Lord.
10. 1 Corinthians 14:3-4, "But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church."
A true Prophet will look to edify, comfort, and uplift the Church body by his testimony as well as exhort them.
11. Isaiah 8:20, "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." A true Prophet keeps God's Law, and abides by the testimony of the Bible Prophets as well.
If a Prophet does not agree with the Bible Prophet's or does not keep God's Ten Commandments, he is a false Prophet.
12. 1 John 4:1-3, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
A true Prophet believes and preaches the incarnation of Jesus Christ. He will preach Jesus as God who came to Earth and put on humanity in order to redeem us all.
13. Matthew 7:15-20, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
A true Prophet will show good works, and have identifiable fruits of a Christian. He/she will have abundant BIBLICAL fruits!
14. Exodus 15:20, "And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances."
Judges 4:4, "And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time."
2 Chronicles 34:22, "And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; and they spake to her to that effect."
Luke 2:36, "And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;"
Acts 21:8-9, "And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him. And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy."
Gender makes no difference. Women can and have been prophet's as well.
15. Acts 2:17-18, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:"
16. Matthew 24:24-25, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before."
Performing miracles proves nothing.
Q: Does the devil have the power to heal?
A: We have all seen New Agers heal people...psychics and even satan worshipers heal people. But does THAT make them REAL or "from" God? Does THAT validate what they teach? Those healings never last. The bottom line is, all sickness & disease really can be boiled down to demonic activity.
When Jesus healed, He cast the demons out & said: "enter into him no more". When Jesus was confronted by the Leaders, they said that He "cast out devils by Beelzebub, the prince of the demons". But Jesus countered their remark by saying "if satan cast out satan, then his kingdom has an end". Those that seem to be able to "heal" using powers that are not from God...these healings really are not genuine. The demon may become dormant & move to another part of the body or manifest in a different way later, but it really never leaves the person. That gives the appearance of a person being "healed".
I have known Catholic priests that are holy & walk with God. They don't seem to be fettered with all that doctrine that most Catholics are bound by. From what they showed me, God & Jesus truly take precedence in their lives, not Mary or other pagan issues. I also know that there are many Holy Spirit filled Catholics that walk with God, and move in the gifts of the Spirit. I have never heard any of the ones I have known being fixated on Mary or the other pagan issues in the Catholic church. Frankly, I honestly can't say that I ever heard them talk about Mary. Why??? Because they were balanced....they read their Bibles & knew what the Bible said. They did not just receive the "teachings" that the Catholic church taught and take them as truth.
Regarding what you said of the "other churches\pastors who claimed to have the gift of healing but couldn't heal you"...the fact is that the gifts of the Spirit do not operate when "we" want...they operate "according to His will", not ours. There are also many "mechanics" involved in the healing process..."a person's faith to be healed", "sin\unforgiveness in a person's life", "the gift of healing in action" (is the minister doing what God wants when God wants), "the working of miracles in action" (is the minister doing what God wants, when God wants), the level of faith in the minister moving in the gift (as well as the level of holiness in the minister's life). There are probably more mechanics than these...I'm just naming some off the top of my head.
Honestly, it is hard for me to accept something as being "genuine", when there is major doctrinal flaws in that persons life & belief system. The Bible says that the devil will deceive many in the last days:
2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 2Th 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 2Th 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (you get that..ALL POWER, SIGNS & LYING WONDERS).
Gal 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Gal 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
This is a God -"double whammy"...stated twice, means very serious!
We both know that much of what the Catholic church holds as "doctrine" either doesn't line up with the Bible or they twist the Bible (taking it out of context) to fit what they are saying (like satan did when he tempted Jesus in Matt. 4:6).
That is why Christians MUST base their faith on the Word of God & NOT solely on experience or manmade doctrines that change with the Pope...because the devil can perform AL TYPES of power, signs & lying wonders.
Many are being deceived today because they are led astray by "miracles, signs & wonders", instead of clinging to the Word of God and knowing God themselves. They will rationalize that "it MUST BE GOD...ONLY God can heal"...
1Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
The Word of God is the ONLY ANCHOR we have to hold us true to God. Without standing on this SOLID ROCK, we sink in SAND.
Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: Mat 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. Mat 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: Mat 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
God's word is the ONLY ROCK...a Rock is SOLID....SAND is not solid...it is composed of little pieces of rock...it is not solid, but is more like fluid...it moves & changes & conforms around whatever is placed on it....I know you see what this is saying.
From the old Gospel Hymn: "On Christ, the solid rock I stand, ALL other ground is sinking sand...all other ground is sinking sand!!!"
We must not be led astray by something that doesn't line up with God's word, just because it has the appearance of being real.
1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
A: Many people mistakenly believe that the immaculate conception refers to the conception of Jesus Christ. Jesus’ conception was most assuredly immaculate…but this concept does not refer to Jesus at all.
The immaculate conception is a doctrine of the Romans Catholic Church in regards to Mary, Jesus’ mother. An official statement of the doctrine reads, “…the blessed Virgin Mary to have been, from the first instant of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of Almighty God, in view of the merits of Christ Jesus the Savior of Mankind, preserved free from all stain of original sin.” Essentially the immaculate conception is the belief that Mary was protected from original sin, that Mary did not have a sin nature, and was, in fact, sinless.
The problem with the doctrine of the immaculate conception is that it is not taught in the Bible. The Bible nowhere describes Mary as anything but an ordinary human female whom God chose to be the mother of the Lord Jesus Christ. Mary was undoubtedly a godly woman (Luke 1:28). Mary was surely a wonderful wife and mother. Jesus definitely loved and cherished His mother (John 19:27). The Bible gives us no reason to believe that Mary was sinless. In20fact, the Bible gives us every reason to believe that Jesus Christ is the only Person who was not “infected” by sin and never committed a sin (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 2:22; 1 John 3:5).
The doctrine of the immaculate conception originated out of confusion over how Jesus Christ could be born sinless if He was conceived inside of a sinful human female. The thought was that Jesus would have inherited a sinful nature from Mary had she been a sinner. In contrast to the immaculate conception, the Biblical solution to this problem is understanding that Jesus Himself was miraculously protected from being polluted by sin while He was inside Mary's womb. If God was capable of protecting Mary from sin, would He not be able to protect Jesus from sin? Therefore, Mary being sinless is neither necessary or Biblical.
The Roman Catholic Church argues that the immaculate conception is necessary because w without it, Jesus would have been the object of His own grace. The thought goes like this – for Jesus to have been miraculously preserved from sin, which itself would be an act of grace, that would mean God essentially “graced Himself.” The word grace means “unmerited favor.” Grace is giving someone something he or she does not deserve. God performing a miracle in preserving Jesus from sin is not “grace.” In no sense could Jesus possibly be infected with sin. He was perfect and sinless humanity joined with sinless divinity. God cannot be infected or affected by sin, as He is perfectly holy. This same truth applies to Jesus. It did not take “grace” to protect Jesus from sin. Being God incarnate, Jesus was in His essence “immune” from sin.
So, the doctrine of the immaculate conception is neither Biblical or necessary. Jesus was miraculously conceived inside Mary, who was a virgin at the time. That is the Biblical concept of the virgin birth. The Bible does not even hint that there was anything significant about Mary’s conception. If we examine this concept logically, Mary’s mother would have to be immaculately conceived as well. How could Mary be conceived without sin if her mother was sinful? The same would have to be said of Mary’s grandmother, great-grandmother, and so on. So, in conclusion, the immaculate conception is not a Biblical teaching. The Bible teaches the miraculous virgin conception of Jesus Christ, not the immaculate conception of Mary.
Q: Is it ok to pray to angels?
A: No, no, NO! NOWHERE in the Bible are we ever told to pray or communicate with anyone that has died, or to ever to pray to an "angel." We are to pray to God & Jesus ONLY.
Jesus taught us specifically how to pray: "Our Father," not mother, angel, or buddy up there.God gave His angels charge over us, not us charge over the angels. They are God's messengers, not ours. They carry out God's work, and are not mediators in between God and us. Jesus said he left us with the Holy Spirit, we are to pray to the Holy Spirit and Jesus if we need help.
The Bible actually forbids communication to the dead...it is called necromancy & it is an abomination to God. Also, there is no Bible evidence to support anyone that IS DEAD, appearing & talking to living people (with the exception of Jesus after He resurrected). Yes, angels do appear & talk to people because there is Bible evidence, but we are not to pray to angels or anyone else but God & Jesus. Anyone doing so are opening themselves up to deception & demonic oppression:
Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that used divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Deu 18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. Deu 18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Deu 18:13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
There are Bible instances where there was communication with the "dead" & these are an exception, not the rule. The first one was with Saul with the witch at Endor. He went there to speak to a "familiar spirit", which God had previously commanded the Israelites NEVER to do. God sent Samuel the prophet overriding the power of the familiar spirit. This is NOT something anyone should ever do...Saul died shortly after this. ( 1 Sam 28: 7 - 20)
Saul was in DEEP trouble! He had committed several ABOMINATIONS by going to this witch, so God brings up the REAL Samuel as a "GOTCHA". This is in NO way indicating it is something that "we" can do! It actually says that Samuel was "disquieted" (tremble, quake, rage, quiver, be agitated, be excited, be perturbed) when he was "brought up"... meaning it wasn't something that should EVER have happened!!!
The other instance was when Jesus was "transfigured" in Matt. 17:1-9. Jesus spoke to Moses & Elijah...(notice that Peter, James & John did NOT speak to them...only Jesus). This was a "special" instance which no one else can use as Bible evidence to follow... non of us can be "transfigured"...we are NOT God. Those that communicate with the dead &\or talk with angels are in for some serious butt paddling, not to mention any deception & demonic oppression they get entangled with!!
Regarding the rosary, not only is the Rosary a "vain repetition", which Jesus warned against, but praying the rosary ALSO instills devotion to Mary to everyone that recites it (whether consciously or subconsciously). Look at HOW MANY times a person recites "Hail Marys" more than "Our Father\Glory be to the Father" in the steps 1-8 of the "Rosary"
1. Make the Sign of the Cross and say the "Apostles' Creed." 2. Say the "Our Father." 3. Say three "Hail Marys." 4. Say the "Glory be to the Father." 5. Announce the First Mystery; then say the "Our Father." 6. Say ten "Hail Marys," while meditating on the Mystery. 7. Say the "Glory be to the Father." 8. Announce the Second Mystery; then say the "Our Father." Repeat 6 and 7 and continue with Third, Fourth and Fifth Mysteries in the same manner.
Total = 6 Our Father\Glory be to the Father, 23 Hail Marys
THEN, After the Rosary they pray: HAIL, HOLY QUEEN, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray. O GOD, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.
By the time a person has finished the entire rosary "ritual", they have given MUCH, MUCH more devotion to Mary than to GOD!!!

Is is ok to pray to angels?
Q: If the doctor gives me a negative prognosis, isn't he prophesying curses over me?
A: Yes, when people go to "a doctor", many really do NOT really know what they are doing. If we go to the doctor and the doctor says we have this or that wrong with us"...THEY ARE PROPHESYING A CURSE UPON US!
It's not just a matter of disagreeing with what they say. THAT curse MUST be broken off. Much like you did when the doctor said you had ZERO chance of being healed. You broke off their CURSE by SPEAKING God's TRUTH, which destroyed the power of their Curse.
That is why it is better NOT to go to doctors...because most doctors are just ministers of the devil. They only "prophesy" death & loss instead of health & life.
There ARE some good doctors that will even pray for healing, but not many. Those that "understand" spiritual things know NOT to "receive" those destructive "prophetic words" from a doctor. But people that don't know what is really going on will receive the "pronouncement of the curse" & suffer the consequences. That is why a lot of people have a very hard time getting the victory over sickness & disease...they received the lie instead of the truth.
But the victory can & will come once this curse has been effectively broken off of them. That can be a very hard thing to do though, because most people will more readily "believe" what they can see: the LIE (xray/blood test), instead of what they cannot see: the TRUTH (the word of God).
A: YES. The Bible says that by Jesus' stripes (beatings) we are healed. Jesus healed ALL manner of sickness and disease. He told his disciples to do likewise.
There are seven scriptural methods whereby you can receive your healing. I believe the prayer of faith is the highest form of prayer to receive healing. In Mark 11:24 Jesus said, "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Is Jesus a liar or does He tell the truth? He tells the truth! He says, "whatever things you ask...." Wouldn't that have to include healing? Yes, it does.
Therefore, it must be God's will to heal. Otherwise He could not make that kind of bold declaration. "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray"-not after you pray, not a month later, not when you see something, not when you understand it, but "when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."
If you believe you receive them you will confess that, "Bless the Lord - I believe I am healed, I believe I have received my healing." Now, once you make a faith confession you are going to get opposite from the enemy. His motive is to move you off your faith confession.
Someone might say, "Yes, but you don't look like you are healed." I didn't say, "I look like I'm healed," I said, "I believe that I received my healing." "Yes, but how do you feel?" "Bless God, I am not going by how I feel - I am going by what I believe - and I believe I am healed, in Jesus' Name." "Yes, but that doesn't make sense." "That's right; it is not sense, it's faith." "Yes, but that's illogical." "You're right again; it's not logic, it's faith." "Yes, but I just don't understand that." "I don't understand how it works either, but I believe it is true because God said it in His Word."
Listen friend, I don't understand how television works, but I believe if I turn it on, I can watch a movie. The fact that I don't understand how it works does not stop me from enjoying the benefits of watching my favorite TV programs in living color.
I don't know how an airplane stays up in the sky, as big as a 747 is-that thing is gigantic. How does it stay up in the air? The good news is that I don't have to understand it to get on the plane and fly from Los Angeles to Hawaii or somewhere else. All I have to do is believe the plane can fly me there, get on board and go. After all, that is what you want anyway-the results-right?
Praise God! You don't have to do any more than believe that you receive your healing based on the Word of God and you shall have it!
Is healing for all? I believe that it is so. I believe that I can walk in divine health all the days of my life. I believe and confess that I will never be sick and I'm not being presumptuous. The Bible says in Psalm 91:1, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." I believe I'm right in there under His right wing-right up under that wing. God Himself said in verse 10, "...No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling." Whose dwelling place is God talking about? My dwelling place because I am under His shadow of protection.
What is a plague? Isn't that sickness and disease? God said, ""...No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling." Well, I guess God lied. No, He is not a man that He should lie. He went on to say, in verse 16, "With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation." Praise God! Healing is for all.
Oh, that's not to say I'm not attacked. I'm attacked. The devil just sits like a blood hound- every morning I wake up he's sitting right on the foot of the bed. Sometimes he throws that dart the right way, but it doesn't stop me and it won't stop me because I'm being strong-not in Fred Price-but I'm being "strong in the Lord and in the power of His might."
Dr. Frederick K.C. Price Crenshaw Christian Center www.faithdome.org
Q: How do you know a true healing from a false one?
A: A true healing will be a complete healing, God doesn't do things partially.
It will be done in the NAME of JESUS & also will ONLY ascribe or give glory to God & Jesus (not Mary of anyone else as God said He'll give no one else His glory and is a jealous God). When a healing is not of God, it will undoubtedly not last long & more than likely signs of demonic activity will show-up in the person later (fears, torments, other symptoms, etc.).
Matthew 12:13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other. Jam 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 1Jo 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. Act 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Q: If sickness comes from an evil spirit, will drawing closer to God cast it out or does it need to be verbally/spiritually cast out?
A: Yes, usually drawing closer to God (entering deeper into His presence & glory) will burn out most anything that is not of God.
When we enter His presence, He is a sense has APPEARED to us. We see Him as He is and as we spend time in His word AND with Him, we will become more like Him (purified & holy as He is holy). Many are healed & delivered while being in His presence. But that CAN depend on the level of intimacy one has with Him. The depth of His presence in one's life, is determined by a person's submission, obedience & love to Him. Some people are not fully committed or double-minded. Doubt, anger, unforgiveness, fear will block healing and being able to be in His presence. After being in His presence, it is easier to verbally\spiritually cast out of these people since you are opening the doors for God to work.
Heb 12:29 Our God is a consuming fire. 1John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. Mal 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: Mal 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness. Luke 13:11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
Q: Can we cast out our own evil spirits or do we need someone else to do it?
A: A person CAN cast evil spirits from self, but this also depends on the "size or strength" of the demon stronghold.
Sometimes the agreement of 2 or 3 is needed for complete success. This is why Jesus always sent the disciples 2 by 2. Also, Jesus said sometimes it is only by prayer & fasting for more difficult cases.
Mat 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Mat 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Luk 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. Luk 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Luk 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luk 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Mar 9:28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? Mar 9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
Q: Did Jesus die with all our unrepented sins, or did Jesus die for ALL our sins, past present and future?
A: Jesus took all the sins of the world on to him. For this, God had to turn from him. It was the ultimate heartbreak for both of them.
Satan assumed this was his greatest victory. This shattered Satan and sin. Jesus famous question, "Eli, Eli, Lamma Sabachthani?" captures the moment with unique Godly passion. This is not merely a man's death. This is the overturning of everything human and spiritual. This is Jesus-the perfect lamb, fully human and fully God accepting every past, present and future sin out of unquenchable love. He took on the "Whole Enchilada" of every possible sin. Then he had to suffer the greatest pain when his loving father turned from him.
If you think that a nuclear bomb is powerful, imagine the spiritual power of the cross. In Jesus death, God ripped his Holy veil in the Temple, thereby ending the Old Covenant. By Jesus going to the cross, taking on our sins and suffering his father's rejection, he blew up the spirit world forever. Jesus then introduced the New Covenant where we may go to him directly any day, not just Yom Kippor, and repent to throw heavy sin burdens off. What a new joy!
It is revolutionary. He broke the power of sin. He changed the parameters of sin so that they are completely washed by his blood. He perfected his Old Covenant and wrote the new one on our hearts, as he promised in Jeremiah. Can you imagine the rejoicing in heaven by all the angels when he fulfilled and renewed everything? "It is Finished!" Sin is finished by the perfect completion of Jesus' humble death on the cross and resurrection.
Q: Will God only forgive you when you repent of your sins?
A: Don't bet your life on doubting this one. You MUST repent of your sins, Jesus spoke of this. Sin prevents you from fully enjoying God's love. The 4 spiritual rules are you must confess (1st John 1:9), repent (Luke 13:3), believe (Acts 16:31) and receive (John 1:12).
"Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand."
God is Holy. Sins are a stench in his nose. He is willing to forgive you if you are sincere. Plus, sins weigh you down. Why would you desire to be heavy with a burden? Please read Pilgrim's Progress. On the other hand there is Grace. God is Holy, so he has every right and privilege to forgive based on grace. Such as: You die in a car crash and don't repent for mocking the elderly an hour before. Grace rules! But it is Holy and complex.
Q: Does God wants us to forgive others only if they ask for it?
A: No, we are told that unless we forgive others regardless of whether they deserve it or not, God will not forgive us. Forgiveness is never for the other person, it is ALWAYS for you and to have a true relationship with God.
Q: How many times should we forgive?
A: God wants us to forgive 70 times 7, that means daily. Every day, search your heart, do micro searches going all the way back to childhood. Forgive everyone for everything, no matter how big or small the offense.
Jesus died on the cross with his last words: "Forgive them Father, they know not what they do."
We're to do the same. As we forgive others, we'll be forgiven by God.
Q: Is the Catholic Church the first church?
A: No, the Catholic church was NOT the first church, God setup up the early church: "built upon the apostles & prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone" (Eph. 3:20 ).
Catholics believe that "Peter's confession" in which Jesus said "upon this rock, I will build My church", as designating that Peter was the first pope...this is incorrect. Why would God be so foolish to build His church on an unstable man?
When Jesus told Peter: "you are Peter (greek = petros = a stone), He wasn't saying Peter was a ROCK (greek = petra = massive rock), Jesus said that His church would be built upon the confession of faith "thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matt. 16:15-19)...Jesus is THAT ROCK...(NOT Peter)!!!
"And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ" (1 Cor. 10:4).
The FIRST church was corrupted by the mingling of Babylonian practices around 400AD. Here is an excellent study of the Catholic church & Babylon: http://www. hisservice.com/helm/wri/mont/babylon.htm
